Ms. Elizabeth Trinkler, Chairman

Elizabeth Trinkler has served as Chairman and owner of Payment America for the past twenty years. Ms. Trinkler started out at the company, working for her father, Charles F. Miller, in 1975. The company at that time, Professional Adjustment Service, Inc., was known for its niche in managing the collections process for healthcare providers. During her twenty-four year tenure with the company, Ms. Trinkler has guided the current company to include a full range of business process and receivables management solutions. During this time, Payment America was one of the first companies to employ automated dialer technology, and the first collections company in Tennessee to move from a paper-based system in favor of a technology solution to manage clients’ accounts. Today, Payment America manages receivables and executes business process solutions for more than 1,000 entities nationwide.

Ms. Trinkler serves as the Vice Chairman of the Tennessee Collection Service Board, and is a past President of the Tennessee Collectors Association. Her accolades include: Small Business Woman of the Year, Credit Woman of the Year, past Chairman of the Tennessee Christian Medical Center Foundation; a role she filled after serving on the board for more than fifteen years. Ms. Trinkler has been recognized for her knowledge of managing healthcare organizations, credit and collections operations, and HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) compliance issues.

Ms. Trinkler received her degree in Business Administration and Masters of Business Administration from the University of Tennessee.
