The "HEART" of the network at Payment America is the collection database and application software. The Flexible Automated Collection System (FACS) is the premier collection software in use today. Developed by Ontario Systems Corporation (OSC) in Muncie, IN, FACS utilizes a post-relational, object oriented database that allows control of every aspect of the collection cycle from account entry to preparing accounts for legal action. This software provides real-time integration of Payment America's automated dialer and database allowing accounts to be updated instantly thereby ensuring full FDCPA compliance. In addition, Payment America utilizes a document imaging and retrieval system (DISQ) to store itemized statements and hardcopy correspondence for each patient account so that its agents have all of the information they require at their fingertips.
