Headquartered in Nashville, TN, Payment America Systems, Inc. (“Payment America”) is a national provider of contingent collections, receivables management, and Extended Business Office operations for healthcare providers. The Company was originally founded as Professional Adjustment Service, Inc. by Charles F. Miller over 48 years ago to service the growing local healthcare industry in Nashville. Today, Payment America works on behalf of its clients in more than thirty-five states and over the last ten years has managed in excess of $3 billion of healthcare receivables. The focus on healthcare has led Payment America to expand its service offering to include healthcare business office and accounts receivable staffing, check re-presentment, and on/offsite special projects related to old or aging accounts receivables.
